The Old Mansion House garden was originally a thriving homestead producing food for guests and staff, and the barn, now used for storage, once housed livestock.

It is now a family-friendly mix of lawns, bordered by shrubs and flowerbeds, and light woodland giving scope for young explorers and family pets. Our wild visitors include deer, chipmunks, and and lots of birds, some of which also make good use of the nest boxes we provide.

The verandah enables visitors to enjoy the sights and sound of the outdoors, with extensive views of the lawns and woodland, and the lawns are perfect for games, barbecues or simply relaxing...
