In winter visitors can enjoy the adventure of skiing, skating or exploring the local trails on snowshoes. Mount Orford and Owl's Head offer a host of outdoor attractions, while Jay Peak in Vermont is also within easy driving distance. In summer the region offers lavender fields, vineyards, orchards and a variety of sporting and other leisure activities including sailing, swimming, scuba diving, fishing and horse riding. The scenic cycle and hiking trails of the Eastern Townships are nearby, and Inverugie Golf Club is less than a five-minute walk away.
